Pudgie's Pizza - Southside

It's a "Super Sub."
Pudgie's Pizza - Southside, ITALIAN and subs (submarine sandwiches), Southside location 350 South Main Street. Deep dish (Chicago) style pizza. Also try their "Italian Sausage Special," and their meatball sub, calzones and strombolis. We shared a large "Super Sub." Fresh and delicious. Nice fresh roll - still hot from the oven. An Elmira institution. $. Last visit 4/1/2015 - 2 guests lunch - takeout.

  1. Thank goodness we have a critic here in Elmira, Bravo. Restaurants around here are getting out of control. If it's one thing the people would like to see, is that any walk in and order place be critiqued. The poor service of these establishments need to be recognized. I applaud you for your services. If I may add, the price at Pudgies is outrageous. You were being nice, because for me they get a 5/10 for value. It is over $2.00 for a slice of pepperoni Pizza. I remember when is came to $1.25. Growing up here in Elmira I have got to see the PSP raise their prices with no increase in quality or care. There is little constituency on the grill.

  2. Feel free to comment on your restaurant "walk in and order" experiences.

I just did a quick price check on slices of pizza. $2 a slice is actually very cheap compared to the rest of the country. Most places are $2.50 to $3.50 a slice.
